Cruise Pix

Cruise Pix

Cruisin' Kearney Parade.  A fun cruise for Cal & Tim!  Years ago they banned any cruising down Kearney (and a few other streets). This was the first Kearney street run since they lifted the ban!  Hope to see more of them!

It seems that Cal had company when he saw this '53 International coming up beside him at the last Kearney Street cruise!  Thanks Katrina for the pix!

He wasn't alone at the parking lot either!  But he WAS the oldest this time!  (I promise I won't laugh)!   ;-)

Route 66 on the Square

Cal waiting in line for the Route 66 Cruise ...even in the rain!  Unfortunately, it was canceled 'cuz of the rain after waiting in line for over an hour!  Believe me, it came down like cats and dogs!

National Street Rods 22

National Street Rods 22 - Yellow/White '40 Ford.  Yes, that's Cal's truck in the middle!

Silver Beauty

This Silver Beauty '53 F100, got my attention!

Red Rocket

It may not catch your eye in this pix, but check out the next few!  '58 Chevy Apache (highly modified)

Red Rocket 2

Zoom in on those rear lights!  COOL!  It gets better, so hang on!

Red Rocket 3

I wished I would have been there to see this one in person.  Sorry for the shadows, but you at least get the idea.  NICE!

Ozarks Mtn Run 22 - Branson. Mo.   Even rat rods came out for this years show!  As hot as it was, I'll bet these owners wished they had some a/c!

Possum Killer

And Here We Go!

Engine

I can guarantee that Cal was drooling over this one.....and wishing he had that engine!

Tail Gate

You know how mechanics are, they have to get a close up on everything!  This IS a cool back side I have to admit!  I think he was more interested in that cool bumper!

Thanks for coming!

Of course Cal never goes to a Cruise without taking his camera, so I'll use this page to post some pix of what he's doing! (Or he and his brother Tim that is)! They're usually a package deal on these things!

Want to enlarge the image?  The old host used to allow enlargement, but that's all changed when they upgraded. SO, just "right click" on the pix you want to save and save it to your computer.  You'll find it's a LOT bigger than the website shows.  Enjoy!

Cals Corner

Stop by Cal's Corner!

The Show-Me F100's link will actually take you first to this page.  Why?  Ok, so I'm taking advantage of some free web hosting!  It's expensive to keep websites up and running, so I'm using some hosting I got with our Domain Name.  Let us know what you think!

DriveThru

Of COURSE you've got to get some FOOD after a long day cruisin'!

Camping

I know Cal has a craving for his tent and getting out there in the WILD!  But, this might be the only way he gets to do things for a while!

Remember When 1

National Street Rods 22 - '38 Chevy.  This one brought back memories Big Time!  Hang tight, it gets better!

Remember When 2

And to think all this stuff fits in this tiny camper shell!

Remember When 3

Now I KNOW that these things bring back memories, so don't lie to yourself!  I remember walking to the gas station up the street with a quarter, filling up the gallon gas can for the mower, stopping by to get an ice cream cone (they were HUGE back then) and I still had  change left over to give to dad.  Yep, those were the good ole days!

Remember When 4

I hope you had a FUN time going back through History!  I know Cal and Tim had a great time looking at all these beauties!

The pix below are wide angle shots which I thought would give you a better idea of some of the area that they used at the show.

Of course, a show wouldn't be a REAL show without Wildman there to talk, joke and play with everyone as the day goes by!

Go Everett!
